Your career. The Ospreys' sponsors are eager to recruit multi-talented undergraduates. You have proved your skills in time management, focus, and taking responsibility for your successes. The Ospreys showcase your talent at the many networking events.

Your friends. Ospreys are among the busiest students at the University. When not in a lecture or at a supervision, an Osprey can probably be found in a gym or pool or at a court or pitch. However, even Ospreys need some time to unwind and have fun! We’ll take care of that.

To network: Ospreys enjoy a vibrant events calendar (see ‘Calendar’) including a welcome party, sporting speaker events, termly awards ceremonies, an annual dinner in London, events at the major Varsity matches, a summer garden party and numerous networking receptions with sponsors eager to recruit multi-talented students. Don't forget the benefits of your membership card which gives you queue skip on Wednesday night Cindies, and Sunday night Life!

To get recognition you deserve: Becoming an Osprey entitles you to apply for a coveted Ospreys sports bursary. Last year we awarded £2000 to the University’s most successful sportswomen at an Awards Ceremony held at a central Cambridge cocktail bar.

To get ahead: An Ospreys’ membership card entitles the bearer to jump the queue at Ballare/Cindies on Wednesday nights and Life on Sunday nights!

To stay informed: We produce a Newsletter which is distributed to all Ospreys in residence. The newsletter includes reports documenting the progress of the women’s sports teams at Cambridge allowing you to keep completely up to date!

To look great: Being an Osprey is something to be proud of. To enhance the identity of the Ospreys, last year we created a range of exclusive Ospreys’ kit. We will be launching a new range over 2011-12 to supplement the Ospreys’ scarf available to purchase in Ryder & Amies, and the Blazer available at different events throughout the year. Free Ospreys’ merchandise also awaits...

To stay in touch: At only £40 for undergraduate membership, you’ll easily make back the cost of joining by attending Ospreys’ events and will be able to retain your sporting connections forever. Alumni are able to attend all our events, with a particular highlight being the Annual Dinner in London, and receive all our newsletters by email.
