Studied Economics at Selwyn College and played volleyball for Cambridge. Now a Careers Adviser at the University and a late convert to rowing. Mary is also Senior Treasurer of Cambridge University Volleyball Club, so is very much at the heart of Cambridge Sport.
Tim studied Classics at Jesus College and coxed women’s fours winning oars twice. He has been Head of Communications for the University and still coxes for “Town” boat clubs Xpress and Champion of The Thames.
Dr Joan Lasenby
Read Mathematics at Trinity College, became an Astronomer for her PhD and finally found herself in Engineering. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Signal Processing Group of the Engineering Department. She has Full Blues in athletics from her student days and is now President of the Cross Country Club and Senior Member of the Women’s Boat Club. She is Senior Treasurer of both the Women’s Blues Committee and the Senior Ospreys.
Dr Pat Marsh
Is a founder member of the Ospreys senior executive committee, a past chairman of CUWBC and is a Fellow Commoner of Magdalene College.
Assistant Director of the Sports Service at the University of Cambridge and a Fellow of Wolfson College. Currently working towards a PhD in Sociology focusing on women’s sport. Previously played hockey and cricket competitively and rowed for her college. A Real Tennis convert and Ultramarathon plodder.
